Tax Preparation Professionals

You may choose to seek assistance from a professional tax preparer. There are many professionals who prepare tax returns in the Washington, D.C. area. Some are listed in a chart on the following page. It is important, however, to choose one that is knowledgeable of the complicated issues surrounding nonresidents for tax purposes. Not all of them are familiar with the special circumstances surrounding F and J status holders.

Below is a list of individuals with experience in F and J tax issues. Please note that the centers listed as H&R Block Premium are centers that handle more complicated tax issues, primarily corporate, and charge higher fees than regular H&R Block offices. Arctic International offers an electronic tax preparation services for approximately $30 to assist in completing tax forms.
